This Vet Center goes through employees like a running facet. The management is and can be extremely condescending with Vets, public and Veteran Counselors who work there. There have been numerous complaints to the Veteran’s Administration regarding management practices with little support. Excellent counselors have walked out due to the treatment of the management with the employees. Some of the counselors are Veterans themselves with PTSD. Management continues to “taunt” the employees by posturing, purposely losing work, setting up employees to fail, and demanding to work on weekends and after hours. Its a wonder that most counselors have had to seek refuge or cover from a Manager who is only concerned for themselves and emotionally abuses its Veterans. Management is not a Veteran! The previous Regional Director was warned not to hire this Manager but did so anyway!!! Adding INSULT to INJURY!

You obviously have never been there or you need a lot of help.

      Someone who’s been there.

I agree! From someone who’s worked there. The manager is corrupt and very disrespectful with Veterans. Purposely would sabotage counselors work by not entering the data. So your numbers would be very low. Crazy woman! So glad I got out of there. I never knew how many people she got rid of until I began working there. So sad. Regional Director was told by her previous employer to not hire her. But he did anyway. And we all paid for that decision.

That commit left on January 17, 2012 at 12:17 PM…….was probably an x-employee that couldn’t get his/her act together and didn’t understand the work ethic of helping and going beyond the scope of practice of this particular Vet Center. Seven days a week, 365 days a year…..what other Vet Center does this in the USA including Guam and Puerto Rico in supporting and helping OUR VETERANS with PTSD. KEEPING THE PROMISE is their motto.
